There are many determining factors that go into when an order will be shipping out. Such as whether the some of the items in your order are already in store or waiting to come in with our next import shipment. If one or more of the fish in your order are under the weather we will hold the order until the fish recovers. Weather can also affect your delivery date as in certain times of the year certain locations throughout the country will be either too hot or too cold to ship to. But we will hold the order until the weather improves. Where you are in the queue can also affect the time of shipment. We ship out on a first come first serve basis. Older orders ship out first with newer ones towards the back. Most items in our site have an estimated delivery date before the time of purchase. That will give you the best idea on when the order will go out.
2-3 days and overnight only refers to transit time as listed at the time of purchase and doesn't mean it will be delivered in that timeline from the time of purchase, it means once it leaves the store it should take that time to get to you. We also have to fast and quarantine every fish so some time has to set aside to do this as it may take several days to finish this process. We also have an order look up tool that may provide you a more accurate estimated delivery date. If you go to our site and click on the order status section it will send you to a page where you can enter your order confirmation number i.e. 33333 and your email address you listed when you created your order. This will provide you any current information we might have on an estimated delivery date. At the bottom is a link for the order lookup tool.
